A Cedar Falls-area furniture store ran a conditional weather rebate promotion offering customers who made qualified purchases the chance to receive their furniture for free if it snowed two inches or more at the Waterloo Regional Airport on January 14. More than 100 customers received total rebates on their furniture, totaling over $120,000. This is like a belated Christmas gift for our customers said Dale Emmert, President of Simpson Furniture.
